20 Years of Experience Coast & Sea - the Vendée par la Mer aims to allow everyone to discover our coast. Our coastal environment is rich in history, closely linked to the sea. Our maritime heritage deserves to be known: its richness, its diversity, its fragility are to be discovered in order to better respect them. Going to sea is never trivial, for some it will be the first time, for others it will be once more but never it will be the same. ​ My name is Charlie and I will be your guide for the next walks. The passion for the sea came to me when I was a teenager. I have always worked in this environment, starting by sailing Seas and Oceans as a professional skipper and then as a sailing instructor on just about anything that floats. In recent years, I have spent them leading a nautical structure and its team, developing its activities, training instructors, managing schedules and much more. I wanted to take a turn in my professional life to create my business, to stand on my own feet, to unveil stories, to allow you to discover our coast from the most beautiful place: the Sea. ​ This love story with the Sea, I want to tell it to you so that you in turn fall in love. FOIRE AUX QUESTIONS Y'a t'il des contre indications médicales ? L'embarquement est déconseillé aux personnes souffrant de maux de dos, d'ostéoporose et aux femmes enceintes. En cas d'intempérie, les balades sont elles maintenues ? Les balades sont annulées et/ou reportées en cas de très mauvaises conditions météo. Cette décision appartient au Capitaine. Est-ce que je risque d'avoir le mal de mer ? Les personnes malades à bord sont rares. Malgré tout, nous vous conseillons : - d'être reposé - d'avoir mangé - de rester calme - de regarder vers l'horizon À partir de quel âge est-il possible d'embarquer ? Parce que les balades durent au moins 2 heures, nous conseillons de partager ce moment avec vos enfants s'ils ont 3 ans ou plus. Puis-je emmener mon animal de compagnie ? Aucun animal n'est accepté à bord. En cas de mauvais temps, les balades sont-elles maintenues ? Les balades sont annulées et/ou reportées en cas de mauvaises conditions météo. Les PMR peuvent être accueillies à bord sous réserve de pouvoir être accompagnées et de pouvoir s'installer sur un siège. Je ne sais pas nager, puis-je faire la balade ? Aucun besoin de savoir nager pour participer aux balades. Pour la sécurité chacun est équipé d'une brassière de sauvetage à déclenchement automatique. Comment doit-on s'habiller pour participer aux balades ? Il fait toujours plus frais en mer, nous vous conseillons de prévoir des vêtements chauds.
